Admissions

Fonact welcomes global applications and celebrates cultural diversity. We select students via a rigorous process based on potential, and are committed to equal opportunities.

For all our courses, the first step is to submit an application form (see below). You must have a minimum B2 level of English (CEFRL) and be at least 18 years old, though exceptions may apply.

Once your application for the 3-month, 1-year, 2-year or 3-year has been processed, you will be invited to a free audition (via Zoom or in person), where you will be asked to perform one Shakespeare and one contemporary monologue. This initial audition also includes an informal chat with a member of our core teaching staff, and is an opportunity for you to discuss the course in more detail. If successful, you will be invited to a second-round audition (again, via Zoom or in person).

For our short courses (2-week, 4-week, and Creativity & Connection), no audition is required. Instead, we simply arrange a friendly, informal conversation (via Zoom or in person) to discuss the course in more detail.

Fonact accepts applications year-round, based on course availability, and we consider applicants without prior acting experience.

All payments are to be paid in € at the conversion rate on the date paid.
