About
Leila is a business development and higher education expert who has been advising Fonact ever since it was created.
Before starting her own consultancy, Leila held business and operational responsibilities as Director of the NEOMA Business School MBA programmes delivered in France and in Iran. Leila’s career in General Management Education spans over many previous years at the top international business school, INSEAD, where she took senior leadership roles in international recruitment, marketing and admissions for the INSEAD MBA and Executive MBA programmes.
Prior to that, Leila gained extensive multicultural work experience as an analyst in socio-economic surveys for World Bank projects in Egypt, and then worked as an advisor to Estonian and Finnish companies trading with France. She also co-founded a global networking internet start-up in France well before it became a trend.
Leila has lived in France, Egypt, and the UK and has travelled extensively in Africa, the Middle-East and East Asia during the course of her career. She speaks three (almost four) languages and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s in the Science of Education from La Sorbonne University (France). During her studies, Leila worked as a manuscript evaluation reader for the Gallimard publishing company.
